How to Burn more Calories
The general functions of the hypothalamus are of extreme importance for the body, such as:
pituitary gland regulation
blood pressure regulation
hunger and salt cravings
feeding reflexes thirst
body temperature regulation
hydration
heart rate
bladder function
water preservation
hormonal/neurotransmitter regulation
ovarian function
testicular function
mood & behavioral functions
wakefulness
metabolism
sleep cycles
energy levels
Since I wear the Bodybugg I keep testing to see what will burn more calories. I consistently have to do morning exercise to burn more calories throughout the day. But I have also discovered another interesting fact. Taking something for my hypothalamus burns more calories than when I take my thyroid supplement and concentrate on my thyroid. So more research needs to be done on the hypothalamus and how it affects my metabolism. I have discovered though that I it makes me jittery and woosy to take the hypothalamus supplement simultaneously with my thyroid supplement. And if I eat only protein, green vegetables and fruit I don't get tired. But if I add 2 pieces or more of bread, I get extremely tired to the point of falling asleep.
So, it seems to be reasonable that if I want to sleep, I will need to eat a little popcorn or any "bread" food (potatoes/rice/corn/bread) close to my bedtime.
A diet of protein, vegetables, and fruit keeps me wired and too energetic to sleep 8 hours at night.
So, if you have been "getting" what I am saying......the answer to my daytime energy is to avoid the starches (bread/corn/potatoes/rice) until close to bedtime.
