MASSAGE SERVICES
Middlebury Chiropractic Clinic announces that Kristi Bender, Licensed Massage Therapist, joined our staff to offer her Massage services.
Kristi is a graduate of Denver College of Massage Therapy, Westminster, Colorado. She has graduated from a 815.5 hour program which included: 126 hours of Anatomy and Physiology, 21 hours in a Cadaver Lab, 52.5 hours of Pathology, First Aid and CPR certification.
She is skilled in many kinds of massage which include: Advanced Deep Swedish Massage, Reflexology, Shiatsu, Structural Bodywork Movement and Assessment Technique, Injury Massage, Sports Massage, Rain Drop Therapy and Hot Stone Therapy.
She offers our patients a variety of massages, unique for each patient’s needs. This includes a 30 minute Therapeutic massage, a Relaxing Massage, and a Therapeutic massage at our usual prices. In addition, patients can take advantage of the Specialized massages listed above.
The 30 minute Therapeutic massage is $35.00. The one hour Relaxing Massage is offered for $60, with a $10 discount for those patients who pay cash on the day of service. The Therapeutic massages are $70.00 per hour. Kristi also offers 1 ½ hour massages as well.
To obtain your Massage session with Kristi Bender, call the Front Desk for an appointment. Be specific about which massage you are wanting. If in doubt, ask our doctors massage they would recommend for you. Our doctors will give the Massage Therapist some tips of what areas will be most important to work on.
Kristi will be working under Dr. Norman Miller’s chiropractic license for Diagnosis and Insurance purposes. Your receipts can be sent in to your Insurance company for reimbursement, when your Massage is referred by our doctors to enhance your chiropractic adjustment. A Chiropractic adjustment may be more effective with a massage if your muscles are very tense or strained.
REFLEXOLOGY
We also offer a One hour Foot Reflexology Session for an economically reduced price of $30.00. This session includes a 5 minute foot soak and paraffin prep, 25 minutes of traditional American reflexology and 25 minutes of Thai massage; plus a 55 minute hand paraffin session and 5 minute hand massage. It is administered by Carolyn Miller, who attends International Foot Reflexology seminars yearly, and has experienced Thai foot massage and taken a Thai foot massage class in Chiang Rai, Thailand.
